Honey Basil Plums
Who knew basil is a delicious complement to grilled plums? This quick and amazing treat is served with drizzled mango sauce and a dollop of vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients
1 medium mango - pitted, peeled and chopped
1 tsp. plus 1 Tbsp. Fresh Thyme organic honey divided
2 Tbsp. Fresh Thyme extra-virgin olive oil
1 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh basil
6 fresh plums halved and pitted
2 cups Fresh Thyme vanilla ice cream
Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Directions
- Place mango in a food processor. Cover and process until smooth.
- Strain mango into a bowl.
- Stir in 1 tsp. honey. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
- Preheat grill for direct cooking over medium heat (350°F).
- In a small bowl, combine oil, remaining 1 Tbsp. honey, and chopped basil.
- Brush mixture onto cut sides of plums.
- Grill plums, cut sides down, for 3 to 4 minutes or just until grill marks appear.
- For each serving, drizzle mango sauce onto each dessert plate. Top with 3 plum halves and ½-cup scoop ice cream.
- Garnish with basil leaves, if desired.
