1 lb. lean ground turkey
1/4 cup chopped green onion
2 Tbsp. panko bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. Fresh Thyme Korean BBQ sauce
2 tsp. sesame oil
1 tsp. minced fresh ginger
1 clove garlic, minced
Fresh Thyme olive oil spray
4 whole grain wheat hamburger bun
Sriracha mayonnaise
Kimchi
Baby arugula
Sliced cucumber
Carrot Ribbons
Directions

1 lb. lean ground turkey

1/4 cup chopped green onion

2 Tbsp. panko bread crumbs

2 Tbsp. Fresh Thyme Korean BBQ sauce

2 tsp. sesame oil

1 tsp. minced fresh ginger

1 clove garlic, minced

Fresh Thyme olive oil spray

4 whole grain wheat hamburger bun

Sriracha mayonnaise, optional

Toppings: Kimchi, baby arugula, sliced cucumber, and carrot ribbons

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped green onion, bread crumbs, Korean BBQ sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic.
  2. Shape the mixture into four burger patties. Cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  3. Spray patties generously with garlic olive oil spray.
  4. Prepare charcoal or gas grill for direct cooking over medium heat.
  5. Grill burgers for 12 minutes, turning once, or until burgers reach 165ºF when tested with a meat thermometer.
  6. Place buns, cut sides down, onto grill over medium heat for about 1 minute or until toasted.
  7. Spread cut sides of hamburger buns with mayonnaise, if desired.
  8. Place patties on buns. Top burgers with kimchi, arugula, cucumber, and carrots.
