Since 2014, Fresh Thyme Market has proudly partnered with Feeding America®. Over the past year, customer round-up donations helped to provide 4,716,170 meals, while donations through our Grab & Give program have provided 3,763,020 meals, and our food rescue program contributed the equivalent of another 1,348,607 meals* for neighbors facing hunger.
Feeding America® unites communities through a nationwide network to ensure everyone has access to food and a thriving future. As part of a network of 250+ food banks, 20+ statewide food bank associations, 10+ regional co-ops and 60,000+ agency partners, food pantries, and meal programs, we helped provide 5.9 billion meals to tens of millions of people in need last year.
Round-Up at the Register
Throughout the year, Fresh Thyme offers a Round Up program at checkout, allowing customers to round up their total to support neighbors in need. Every dollar goes directly to Feeding America® to help provide meals for those facing hunger.
Food Rescue Program
Fresh Thyme stores donate surplus food to local food banks, ensuring it is carefully prepared for distribution. This ongoing initiative helps provide meals to people in our communities while reducing food waste.
*$1 helps provide at least 10 meals secured by Feeding America® on behalf of local partner food banks. According to the USDA, 1 meal is the equivalent of 1.2 pounds of food.
