Ingredients
1 pack Recipe Essentials Sesame Soy Ginger Ground Sausage
1 tsp. sesame oil
1 Tbsp. olive oil
8 oz. shiitake mushrooms, sliced
½ cup of scallions, sliced on the bias
1 bag of Slaw mix
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
Crushed red pepper, to taste
Boston lettuce leaves or Romaine Lettuce
Hoisin Sauce (drizzle on finished wrap)
Directions
  1. In a large sauté pan, heat 1 teaspoon of sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add in the Recipe Essentials Sesame Soy Ginger Ground Sausage. While cooking, break apart the ground sausage using a utensil. Cook until brown, and no longer pink (10-12 minutes). Once cooked, remove from pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the olive oil, mushrooms and scallions. Cook until tender;.
  4. Add the slaw mix, cook until slightly wilted.
  5. Return the cooked ground sausage to the pan; stir in the soy sauce and crushed red pepper. Serve on lettuce leaves and drizzle with hoisin sauce.
